Yesterday we had so much fun with Grandma Barb, Aunt Joy & cousin Gus! They braved the snow storm to come meet Landon - so sorry about the cracked windshield and 5 hour trip home!
We spent most of the day looking at Landon through the lens of the camera. Aunt Joy took Landon's very first baby pictures. Of course he's so precious, she just couldn't quit taking pictures :) And I loved every minute of it. Landon was such a little trooper. He was dressed, redressed, and undressed and moved, rotated and rolled so many times. He was exhausted last night, but it was well worth it!
Joy - Thank you so much for capturing these special pictures of our little one! They mean so much to us!!!
Here's a little sneak peek for everyone to enJOY - http://photographybyjoy.blogspot.com/

Landon is settling in at home wonderfully - he's such a good baby. He has his fussy moments, but he's eating great and loves exploring his new home. Landon also had his first outing to his first doctor visit. He weighed in at 7lbs 7.8 ozs and the doctor said he's a very healthy boy. Aunt Whitney & Uncle Scott Uncle Noah & Whitney Bathtime - not very happy about being cold Drying off and warming up after bathtime, and being comforted by the thumb (YES - he's a thumb sucker!). Landon & I arrived home from the hospital on Thursday afternoon. So sorry for the lack of posts and pictures, but we had computer connection problems at the hospital. Now that we're settled at home we'll post more pictures here for you all to enjoy. He is finally here! Yes – it’s a boy. Landon David Aberle was born on Tuesday, January 20, @ 5:43 pm. He is 8 lbs and 21 inces long. He's got dark hair like mom & dad. That's the lesson for the week - Patience. We're still waiting for our little one to arrive. Various people have reported that the cold weather is keeping it from coming this past week, it's warming up this week so I think it's time for him or her to arrive. Baby Aberle will make an arrival this week - the dr. promised! We'll keep ya'll updated here with pictures and details :) My mom & dad (soon to be first time grandparents!!!) brought us this cradle for the baby. Mom & I went shopping for the bedding and it looks absolutely adorable! Thanks M&D for the visit last weekend and for the special gift! We can't wait to put our little one in it soon! :) Yes - today's the big due date for the baby to arrive...and nothing. Well, he/she has about 7 hours left to arrive, but the dr. confirmed that it probably won't happen today. Apparently Baby Aberle wants to arrive fashionably late. So, we'll keep waiting. Good news: Baby's heart rate & growth are right on target and I continue to feel really good. Bad news: I'm exhausted from the lack of sleep. Though the past few months have flown by, we are growing very impatient for little Baby Aberle to arrive! S/he is due to be here on Tuesday (Jan 13). I am still feeling really well and am still working, which has helped the time go by a little bit faster this week. So far I'm not dilated and am having no contractions, so we'll just wait for the little munchkin to tell us when s/he is ready to come. |
